I spent this month getting used to my new Mizuno clubs and practiced a lot on the range and only played once and that was at Mt Edgecombe Golf Course near Durban. I played off the ladies tee and recorded a 45 which is my best so far. I always play the USA for kids measurements and this is the first time in 7 months I have played off the ladies tee. It is now time for course practice and management and I need to work on my putting. My drives now average over 160 metres( 174 yds) so I am happy with that.

At long last there is an organisation that was launched called Little Kids Golf in South Africa for children aged 3 - 12 years old and the first competition is on the 3 October. The field was full just days after the entry forms were sent out. Now I am happy as I can play against kids my age and do not have to try and walk 36 holes in one day as the golf foundation want me to.

I also turned 8 years old on the 9th September. If anyone is having a birthday in October I hope you have a great day. "
